F-one kites sister company F-onesup is gaining massive momentum globally and for anyone who has seen the boards and paddles its obvious why. They take it up a whole nother notch and even for standoffish surfers these boards make you want to get out and give it a go... and surprise yourself. Last weeks trip to the NSW sthn X event was just such a day with all the pros calling it the best conditions ever I decided to enter the 10K downwinder, random as I had never downwinded a sup or even raced / trained at all ever... it was gusting to 45 knots and holding onto a paddle instead of a kitebar was .... different. However the awesome F-one raceboard set a cracking pace, passing probably more other racers than any other board on the day, I went from dead last at the 1st mark (let everyone go so as not to cause havoc) to a remarkably improved finishing position. And it certainly was not because of the F-one shape and build.
Well done Nathan and Jason representing F-one at the Hayden surf classic on 9 and 10 June. The following weekend sunday the 17th we will have an F-one demo stand at Kawana lakes time trials. Then Monday the 18th a paddlefit session with guru Rob West somewhere on the sunshine coast, which will kick off a regular group paddle session, and on the 23rd there is a massive save the whales paddle from Enzos on the beach Hervey Bay.. stay tuned to the
